The National Geographic has recently classified the archipelago of the Azores as the third best location in the world for eco-tourism and, if it wasn’t for that, probably this set of islands in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean would still remain a well-kept secret known only by a few lucky people.
The island of S. Miguel, the biggest of the archipelago, encloses a series of truly remarkable natural attractions. From fumaroles to lagoons with all sorts of different colors and natural hot pools, everything fits in this amazing island, less than two hours away from Lisbon and about five hours away from New York.
Our proposal for you is a short break to recover your strength and sip a sample of natural beauty in its purest form.
